If you were checking out any aspect of our social media this weekend, you may have noticed that we announced our dates for 2016. Kansas City Comic Con will be returning to Bartle Hall on August 12th, 13th, and 14th next year.
We know you've got questions, and we'll try to address a few of them in this, our inaugural state of the union for our 2016 show.
WHEN WILL YOU HAVE APPLICATIONS UP FOR KC COMIC BOOK CREATORS?
Right now, we're looking at mid-October to have apps available. As promised earlier, if you live in the KC Metro area and you've produced a full-length comic book to sell at the show, you will receive a free table.
WHEN WILL CREATOR TABLES AND VENDOR BOOTHS BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE?
We're shooting for the same timeframe. And here's another little tidbit of information:
NO PRICE HIKES!
All prices will be identical to last year. Creator tables will be priced at $130, and vendor booths (again all corners) will be priced at $500.
If you participated in last year's show as a creator or a vendor, you will be contacted directly.
WHEN WILL YOU START ANNOUNCING GUESTS?
Just as soon as they are confirmed.
WILL YOU CONTINUE TO PARTNER WITH OTHER AREA SHOWS IN 2016?
We made some great friends in the days leading up to our 2015 show as well as at the show itself. We see no reason why we wouldn't continue to promote and be promoted by our friends.
WILL KCCC 2016 BE LARGER THAN ITS PREDECESSOR?
Oh, you have no idea.
