With this year being the fiftieth anniversary of Star Trek, we're very pleased to be hosting Nichelle Nichols. You'll want to be certain to attend her panel on Saturday, hosted by Kansas City's own Kevin Dilmore and Dayton Ward.
And speaking of panels,...
PANELS - The first round of panels have been scheduled here. At this time, all media guests have been added, and we're adding more panels as they are confirmed. You'll notice that this year will feature five individual panel rooms: our main room (media guests and the adult costume contest) and four themed rooms. These rooms are built around the subjects of comic books, how-to, cosplay, and creators.
LIVE ART - Our schedule for the live art stage has also begun. This year, we'll not only be featuring artists, but musicians and authors reading from their books. Find the schedule here.
FRIDAY NIGHT CONCERT - While you already know about Saturday's after party concert featuring MC Chris, we've also added a second concert on Friday night right after the show finishes. Join us for a free show featuring Freight Train Rabbit Killer as they partner with artist Hector Casanova.
PHOTO OPS - Froggy's Photos is currently working on a photo op schedule and will be taking advance orders online shortly. While photo ops will also be available for purchase at the show, advance ordering will provide a time-saving alternative prior to the weekend.
SHOCKING GOOD TIME WITH FRED OTTMAN - Join the WWE legend for a special meet-and-greet session that includes an opportunity to decorate your own Shock Master helmet. Find all the details here.
COSTUME CONTEST - Details regarding participation in the costume contest will be coming shortly. In the meantime, we would like to announce our judges for the event, taking place on Saturday at 5 PM, with the awards presentation directly following close of show at 7 PM.
Judges include Casey Renee, Aaron Rabe, Jennifer Van Damsel, and Sophii Jones from Ultra Girls Cosplay. The host for our costume contest will be returning favorite, Liz Nelson.
